- The Census Bureau GSA project was the largest design-build contract at the time. It consisted of two new office buildings with 1.5 million square feet of space and two parking structures with over one million square feet.
- TECH inc was contracted to design and install a multi-user telecommunications infrastructure to support over 12,500 work area outlets.
- TECH inc was enlisted to coordinate with the design-build team to construct the facility's telecommunication infrastructure. The infrastructure included multi-user telecommunications outlets (MUTO), single and multi-mode fiber optic cabling, Category 6 copper horizontal distribution and access control.
- Monthly design and cost reviews were conducted throughout the duration of the project.
- Due to the efficiency and coordination of the design-build team, the project was completed in 24 months-12 months ahead of GSA's original schedule and 12 percent under the original project budget.
