• The Logistics University was a design-build project with state-of-the-art educational and training facilities.
• Two buildings with 400,000 square feet of space.
• Fast-track project of multiple, classified and unclassified, low voltage systems with inside and outside plant infrastructure.

TECH inc was a member of the design-build team, with the following requirements:

• Design-build low voltage systems for two buildings with 104 classrooms-including a high density of Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) and Educational Network (EdNet) telecommunication outlets.
• Installation of a Voice/Data/Audiovisual infrastructure that included inside and outside plant fiber optics consisting of 72 and 144 strands, 600 pair copper backbone cabling, and two million feet of horizontal Category 6 cabling.
• Installation of a wireless mesh node access system throughout the buildings-including 315 wireless access points.
• Installation of an A/V infrastructure that included VGA cabling to support plasma TVs, furnishing and installing 191 60" plasma TVs, and furnishing podium-mounted document cameras.
• Installation of an access control system and public address system (consisting of 1200 speakers) throughout the buildings.
• TECH inc successfully completed the installation of all required low-voltage systems. By using pre-fabrication methods, TECH inc met the fast-track demands of the project.
